Reckson reports strong leasing activity throughout NJ portfolio.Reckson Associates Realty Corp. has announced a strong level of lease activity in its New Jersey properties, with recent transactions, both new and renewals, totaling over 100,000 square feet. Reckson owns and operates 26 properties in New Jersey, encompassing 3.5 million square feet. Among the newest tenants in Reckson's two-building Cherry Hill Cherry Hill, township (1990 pop. 69,319), Camden co., W central N.J.; name was changed from Delaware township to Cherry Hill in 1961. Largely residential, Cherry Hill has been marked by great development and housing growth, especially since the 1970s. Road property in Parsippany is Spectra Site Communications, Inc., a leading owner and operator of communications towers for the wireless telecommunications industry. Reckson completed a built-to-suit installation for Spectra Site's new 7,594 square-foot space at 119 Cherry Hill Road. Tom Semler of Alexander Summer, L.L.C. represented the tenant in this transaction. Asset Management Group, a financial advisor, leased 5,493 square feet at 99 Cherry. Hill Road, represented by Steve Fleming of the Staubach Group. In that same building, Entegee, Inc., an employment agency specializing in the placement of technical personnel, leased 2,500 square feet. Reckson's 190,000 square-foot Cherry Hill complex offers tenants a prime location at the interchange of Route 80 and Cherry Hill Road, a beautifully landscaped, campus-style office park with newly renovated common areas, in close proximity to restaurants, hotels and retail. Acquired by Reckson last year, the complex stands at 97 percent occupancy. Another new tenant is the packaging company American BioProducts Company, leasing 8,700 square feet at the 200,000 square-foot Forge Way office and flex complex in Rockaway Rockaway, narrow peninsula, c.10 mi (16 km) long, SW Long Island, SE N.Y., in Queens borough of New York City. Separating Jamaica Bay from the Atlantic Ocean and isolated from the rest of New York City, the densely populated peninsula owes its growth to road and rail . Elsewhere in Reckson's New Jersey region, the law firm Feinstein, Raiss, Kelin & Booker, L.L.C. renewed their lease for 5,046 square feet at 100 Executive. Another sizable renewal at 3 University was with Innodata Corporation, a provider of online data conversion, for 13,327 square feet. Dave Sherman, James Frank and Dave Opper of Insignia/ESG Inc. were the brokers.
