Corp. has announced that PerkinElmer Instruments has signed a long-term lease at Reckson's 452,414 SF office and industrial building at 710 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton, Conn. The move to Shelton ends Perkin-Elmer's nearly 50-year tenure in the greater Norwalk area. The company has leased more than 130,000 SF for office space and 115,000 SF for warehouse space for a total of 245,704 SF. The space will be customized to support instrument operations, the core of PerkinElmer's business strategy. PerkinElmer Instruments manufactures systems that identify and quantify Quantify - A performance analysis tool from Pure Software. chemicals, materials, and biochemicals. 710 Bridgeport Ave. is a 452,412 SF, multi-use facility in Shelton. It is located within minutes of Merritt Parkway  , I-95 and Route 8, in close proximity to public transportation, shopping centers shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into , restaurants, and entertainment facilities.
