Reckson Assoc.'s latest Suffolk County activity.

Reckson Associates Realty Corp. announced a strong level of leasing activity in its Suffolk County industrial portfolio, with recent renewals totaling 103,665 square feet. These transactions cover properties in Bohemia and Hauppauge, locations that are longstanding centers of industrial activity for Reckson.

Transactions in Bohemia include a renewal with Players Computer Inc. for 20,600 square feet for their warehousing operation at 65 Orville Drive. The upholstery and woodworking shop, RHM Industries, Ltd., renewed their lease for 15,000 square feet at 180 Orville Drive. Another renewal was signed with Elan Upholstery, also an upholstery and woodworking shop, for 7,500 square feet at 120 Wilbur Place.

At 1385 Lakeland Avenue in Bohemia, EDP Courier Services, Inc. renewed their lease for 12,500 square feet. Ed Pidgeon of All Industrial Real Estate served as the broker.

Leasing activity remained equally as strong among Reckson's industrial buildings in Hauppauge. The list of recent transactions in Hauppauge include the addition of new tenant Paintworks Manufacturing, a commercial painting facility. The company leased 24,000 square feet within Reckson's 48,000 square foot property at 933 Motor Parkway.

Recent renewals in that area occurred with Sears, who renewed their lease for 30,000 square feet for their wholesale operation at 740 Old Willets Path. Meanwhile, Roadway Tire, a seller of tires, renewed their lease for 9,000 square feet at 631/641 Old Willets Path.

An additional recent industrial transaction took place at 110 Bi-County Boulevard in Farmingdale. At that property, the health care products company, Vital Care Infusions, renewed their lease for 7,574 square feet.
