: RA) has announced the appointment of Philip M. Waterman III ("Tod") as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Reckson's New York City New York City: see New York, city.

 division, known as Metropolitan Partners. Mr. Waterman will assume the role of senior executive in charge of Reckson's New York City operations. Reckson recently announced the acquisition of Tower Realty Trust, a New York New York, state, United States

Prior to joining Reckson, Mr. Waterman spent 12 years with Tishman Speyer Properties. Most recently Mr. Waterman served as a Managing Director in Tishman Speyer's New York office and was responsible for overseeing domestic leasing efforts for the Company's 38 million square foot portfolio, including 17 million square feet in New York City. During Mr. Waterman's tenure at Tishman Speyer Properties, he served in various capacities including overseeing the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  and San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  offices and was a member of Tishman Speyer's Management Committee which is responsible for investment decisions. Most recently, Mr. Waterman was one of two Managing Directors responsible for the repositioning, leasing and marketing of Rockefeller Center Rockefeller Center, complex of buildings in central Manhattan, New York City, between 48th and 51st streets and Fifth Ave. and the Ave. of the Americas (Sixth Ave.). The project was sponsored by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. , New York City's landmark office and retail center.

Mr. Waterman is expected to join Reckson on March 1, 1999 at which time he will immediately begin to lead Reckson's integration efforts of the Tower portfolio. Mr. Waterman will also commence working with the Managing Directors of Reckson's Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey divisions to coordinate efforts to realize leasing and other operating efficiencies between these markets. Mr. Waterman received a B.A. from the University of Michigan (body, education) University of Michigan - A large cosmopolitan university in the Midwest USA. Over 50000 students are enrolled at the University of Michigan's three campuses. The students come from 50 states and over 100 foreign countries. . He is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York, Urban Land Institute, International Development Research Council and National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives.
