Roman Catholics believe this event to be very important, as the Eucharist is one of the central focuses of the Roman . One night I found her practicing the poetry of her hands, the nestling and cradling: "Which hand is the one for Christ?" she says. The peace of the hands at rest, expectant, anticipatory, unclenched, waiting for a miracle, for enlightenment, for his stunning gentle quiet arrival....
