Recapitalization Recapitalization

Restructuring a company's debt and equity mixture often with the aim of making a company's capital structure more stable.

Notes:
Companies often want to diversify their debt-to-equity ratio to improve liquidity.

Gryphon and Ray Marcy, former chairman and chief executive of Spherion Corp. will support DLC's expansion through new office openings, further development of existing markets and selected add-on A purchase of additional goods before payment is made for goods already purchased.

An add-on may be covered by a clause in an installment payment contract that allows the seller to hold a security interest in the earlier goods until full payment is made on the later goods.
