The company will also lend its warehousing and logistical expertise to outfit the San Diego MOM warehouse at Camp Elliot with new shelving and organization.

Participating in the effort will be Michael Guinn, a Recall sales executive from Dallas, Texas “Dallas” redirects here. For other uses, see Dallas (disambiguation).

. Guinn is a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps at Third Force Reconnaissance Company. Capt. Guinn and his unit recently returned from a tour of duty where they operated in the Al Anbar Province in Iraq from August 2006 through March 2007.

"It's important to me to be part of this effort to show support for my friends, fellow Marines, and soldiers who remain in Iraq," Guinn said. "It means a lot for a Marine or soldier when he knows that there's a caring community back home helping to look after his family; and for those who are injured, a care package and call to home are a vital part of the recovery process."

The charitable effort will consist of the donation and assembly of 100 baby packs to help military families while a soldier parent is deployed overseas. The baby packs include a diaper bag, diapers, formula, bath products, and other infant care necessities, to be distributed to families through San Diego MOM. Additionally, Recall will donate 300 boxes of canned and other non-perishable food items to San Diego MOM to help military families in the San Diego area.

"Many people fail to realize the hardships faced by young couples trying to raise a family on a soldier's pay. The company will also assemble and donate "First Response Backpacks" for Soldiers' Angels, to be sent to wounded soldiers flown out of Iraq and Afghanistan to the U.S. Army medical facility at Landstuhl, Germany. First Response Backpacks are stuffed with personal items necessary and vital to a soldier's physical comfort. A typical First Response Backpack contains a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo, soap and other hygiene products. It also contains articles of clothing and undergarments, and a pre-paid phone card so that the soldiers can call family while they recover. Each pack also contains a handmade "Blanket of Hope," handmade by Soldiers' Angels volunteers, and is accompanied by a note of well wishes for each soldier.

One hospital worker recounted her experience with a soldier who had received a First Response Backpack, stating, "When his parents arrived the first thing he showed them was his Purple Heart Purple Heart
