Rebuilding together renovates Stamford home for elderly resident. (Residential).


For the fourth consecutive year, W&M Construction assembled a group of volunteers to improve the home of an elderly resident, as part of the Rebuilding Together Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing and rebuilding communities, buildings, and houses for low-income homeowners and neighborhoods through the use of volunteer labor.  (formerly called Christmas in April) program.

The 2002 beneficiary was Stamford resident Dorothy Pittsinger. Under the leadership of W&M Construction, volunteers completely renovated her bathroom, made various repairs, installed a new door, and cleaned up her yard and planted flowers. The project was completed on April 27.

"This kind of service is very much in keeping with W&M Construction's belief in the obligation to give something back to the communities in which we operate."

Besides W&M Construction employees and members of their families, this year's cadre (company) CADRE - The US software engineering vendor which merged with Bachman Information Systems to form Cayenne Software in July 1996.  of volunteers also included staff members from two vendors, B&G Plumbing, Milford, Conn., and Michael Ross For the United States congressman from Arkansas, see .
