Rear Admiral (Ret.) Richard Brooks Joins Alion; Former Commander of Naval Safety Center to Provide Strategic Business Direction.


MCLEAN, Va. -- Alion Science and Technology Alion Science and Technology (pronounced: ah-LYE-un) is an employee-owned technology solutions company delivering technical expertise and operational support to the Department of Defense, civilian government agencies and commercial customers.  announced that Rear Admiral Richard E. Brooks, USN (Ret.) has joined the company as a Senior Vice President. Brooks, who most recently commanded the Naval Safety Center, has more than 20 years of senior management experience and completed 31 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy.

A career Naval Aviator, Brooks received his commission from the U.S. Naval Academy and has served many tours at sea and ashore.
