Reaping the Benefits of CDM Certification.During the past year, it has become increasingly apparent that professional configuration and data management (CDM 1. CDM - Content Data Model2. CDM - Code Division Multiplexing ) certification is a "must-have" item in an individual's list of achievements. Just as many others have reaped the benefit of the right letters appearing after their name, such as CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000. These items identify you as a proven professional in the discipline. This has happened because the numbers of NDIA-certified professionals have increased to the point where they are in virtually every company and organization, and leaving their mark. Many companies are reaping the benefits of having NDIA professionally certified CDM staff, and the word has spread that achieving NDIA certification requires dedicated individuals who must meet high experience and knowledge standards. NDIA certified professionals are receiving appropriate benefits in salary and job assignments. Certification is now in its 11th year and is just becoming what was only a vision 10 years ago. The goal was to have a method of recognizing the critical importance of the CDM discipline, in the business world and to reward those who are able to achieve professional status. For those who want to achieve professional status in the CDM discipline and be able to put NDIA CCDM or NDIA CCDS after his/her name (and reap the associated benefits), act soon to become certified.
