 Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting, Sotheby's International Realty's downtown Manhattan office will offer this new service to link producers, agents and location managers with some of the city's most exceptional private venues suitable for television and film production.

Significantly, these properties, viewable on the company's Manhattan home page--http://nyc.sothebysrealty.com--are not for sale, ensuring their availability to accommodate even long-range production schedules.

The new venture is being steered by Sotheby's International Realty broker Laura Wagner, who worked in tandem Adv. 1. in tandem - one behind the other; "ride tandem on a bicycle built for two"; "riding horses down the path in tandem"

 with the NYC Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting to bring this service to fruition.

Wagner is a film aficionado A Spanish word that means fan, devotee, enthusiast, etc. There are loyal aficionados of every subject in the computer field.  with a ten-year real estate background selling lofts and other high-end residential properties throughout the city.

Sotheby's International Realty's television and film location service kicks off with a select group of properties and is expected to expand rapidly as word gets out.

Among its varied initial offerings are a dramatic loft-gallery space in the Meatpacking meatpacking or meat-processing, wholesale business of buying and slaughtering animals and then processing and distributing their carcasses to retailers.
