The Washington Post reports that HBO is launching a new series called K Street, a weekly thirty-minute program in which "actors playing lobbyists will attempt to curry favor with actual politicians who have agreed to play along.... Produced in the nation's capital, the ten-episode series will be mostly improvised, the producers said. Except, of course, the politicians' lines, which will be carefully crafted by their press reps."
