 today announced that it completed successful flight demonstrations of the first Gulfstream business jet aircraft to be outfitted with its Stage 3 Hush Kit A hush kit is a device for reducing noise from an engine; most commonly the term refers to devices which reduce noise emissions from low-bypass turbofan engines, as fitted to older commercial aircraft (see below for examples).  at key U.S. airports.  aircraft was flown to eleven different airports across the country and met Stage 3 requirements at every location with minimal performance loss. The demonstrations took place at airports around the country, including Naples Municipal Airport Naples Municipal Airport (IATA: APF, ICAO: KAPF, FAA LID: APF) is a public airport located two miles (3 km) northeast of the central business district of Naples, a city in Collier County, Florida, United States.  in Florida, where noise regulations are extremely strict.

Really Quiet manufactures the first and only FAA-approved hush kit available for Spey-powered Gulfstream aircraft. The aircraft tested was chartered through Priester Aviation of Palwaukee, Illinois.

"We felt that to truly test our first customer's Stage 3 Hush Kit installation, we had to take the aircraft to U.S. airports that have the most stringent noise restrictions," said John Mowinski, vice president of sales for Really Quiet. "As we anticipated, the aircraft performed exceptionally well at every airport we visited, and the noise reduction we achieved was well within Stage 3 standards. Noise levels inside the cabin were also noticeably lower during take-off and even the cockpit crew noticed the difference."

. The positive results were particularly encouraging at Naples Municipal Airport in Florida, which adopted a ban on Stage 2 jet aircraft operations in January 2001. Naples serves a community that has long been one of the most vocal advocates against business jet noise.

The Really Quiet hush kit is designed to enable Gulfstream GII, GIIB and GIII GIII Gasherbrum III (26,089 ft. mountain near Pakistan-China)  business jet models to meet stringent Stage 3 noise regulations. The company offers the only FAA-approved hush kit solution to Gulfstream II/IIB/III owners who are confronted with expanding travel restrictions related to FAR 36, Stage 3, and Annex 16 noise rules. Installation of the first Gulfstream III hush kit is to commence in September. Today, many airports around the world, including many in the United States, are limiting arrivals and departures of Gulfstream GII/IIB/III jets due to noise level concerns raised by surrounding communities. According to industry estimates, up to 80 percent of major airports may impede Spey-powered Gulfstream air travel if these aircraft are not in compliance with Stage 3 regulations.

Really Quiet anticipates receiving JAR and European regulatory approval for its hush kits in the coming months. The company is building a national network of company-approved independent service centers to install its Stage 3 hush kit, and will train personnel and monitor installations at these centers.
