Reality TV.

The idea for the Reality TV series materialized as I wrestled with continuing graduate school. I ended up leaving school to seek direct contact with the world and learn through experience. Often in my subsequent travels, I brought along an old modified TV. In certain places that left me enriched, I photographed someone passively staring at a screen while ignoring a beautiful landscape awaiting exploration. The images display two distinct and opposite ways of discovering life: passive and active.
