Understanding ISO 14000: The first title in the series teaches company executives what an environmental management system (EMS) is and helps them determine whether it is right for their organization. The CD-ROM offers electronic tools that enable organizations to determine costs, scheduling, roles and responsibilities for implementing an ISO 14000 project.

Getting Started with ISO 14000: This title looks at the structure and organization of the ISO 14001 standard, the legal implications of ISO 14000 and the impact of implementation capability on the success of EMS development. It defines implementation capabilities and their importance to the success of EMS development and lets users work through them by example. Electronic tools enable an organization to identify its environmental aspects and associated impacts, and then develop a written Environmental Policy from within the program.

Managing Your ISO 14000 EMS Project: This title enables companies to write and edit a project plan directly within the program and finish it in any standard word processor. It includes a detailed budget template (1) A pre-designed document or data file formatted for common purposes such as a fax, invoice or business letter. If the document contains an automated process, such as a word processing macro or spreadsheet formula, then the programming is already written and embedded in the , which can be imported into a spreadsheet program, and a Project Leader's guide that describes what should be done, when and by whom.

Building and Implementing the ISO 14000 EMS System: Provides integrated electronic tools to document the ISO 14000-based EMS. It includes a sample environmental manual, templates and tools for generating an Environmental Management Program, and guides for writing customized procedures directly within the program. It helps companies develop a plan for controlling documents and data, as well as assists with implementing and auditing the EMS.

Internal Auditing for an ISO 14001 EMS: Enables companies to train an internal ISO 1400 auditing team in both the procedural and behavioral aspects of auditing. It includes video simulations of audit interviews, sample audit forms and procedures. This title covers the pre-audit, audit, and post-audit processes, and addresses how to integrate EMS and compliance auditing.
