 announced the following transactions:

* Meridian Capital Group procured new mortgages totaling $5.45 million on a 3-building package with 167 units in Brooklyn Brooklyn (brk`lĭn), borough of New York City (1990 pop. 2,300,664), 71 sq mi (184 sq km), coextensive with Kings co., SE N.Y. , NY. The loans featured rates of 4.93% with 10-year terms. Avi Weinstock Weinstock (German: grapevine) is the surname of:
  • Arnold Weinstock (1924–2002), English businessman
  • Bob Weinstock (1928–January 14, 2006), founder of Prestige Records
  • Jack Weinstock, writer
 negotiated the financing.

* A new mortgage of $2.5 million was arranged by Meridian on a 275,000 sq.ft. industrial building on 22nd Street in Long Island City, NY. The loan featured a rate of 6.25% with a 15-year term. Morris Diamant negotiated the transaction.

* Meridian placed a new mortgage of $1.65 million on a 65 unit, 6 story Co-op building on Ithaca Street in Elmhurst, NY. The loan featured a rate of 4.73% and a 10 year term. Jeffrey J. Weinberg & David Ostrov negotiated the transaction.

* A new mortgage was placed by Meridian for $1,267,500 on a 36,995 sq.ft. commercial building on Parker Avenue in Manasquan, NJ. The property will benefit from a rate of 6%, with a 10 year term. David Hayum handled this transaction.

* Meridian negotiated a new mortgage in the amount of $1.25 million on a 48 unit, 6 story co-op building on 44th Street Avenue in Sunnyside, NY. The co-op is 13% sold and the loan featured a rate of 4.73% with a 10 year term. Jeffrey J. Weinberg & David Ostrov negotiated this transaction.

* A new mortgage of $1.1 million was placed by Meridian on a 72 unit, 6 story apt. building on Harrison Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. The loan featured a rate of 4.98% and a 12-year term. Morris Diamant negotiated the transaction.

GCP Capital Group LLC announced the following transactions:

* A $15.5 million for an 83,740 SF mixed-use space on Front St. in Brooklyn, N.Y.;

* A $9.985 million loan for one four-story, one six-story, and four five-story apartment buildings in New York City;

* A $2.4 million loan for two four-story apartment buildings on Ave. K in Brooklyn, N.Y.;

* A $2 million loan for a five-story apartment building on St. Nicholas Ave. in New York City;

* A $3.8 million loan for a six-story apartment building on Broadway in New York City.

Adam Brostovksi, Matthew Classi, and Paul Greenbaum arranged the financing for these transactions.

Mercury Capital Corporation arranged a $1.5 million first mortgage for a condo building in Brooklyn, N.Y. The loan featured a one-year term.
