Real estate veteran takes over the reins at CBRE operation.

) announced that Ray Sohmer has been appointed senior managing director for New Jersey operations.

Tom Krieger will assume Sohmer's position as managing director for CBRE's central New Jersey office. Sohmer will replace Stacy Wallach, who retires on January 1, 2007, and report directly to Patrick Murphy

Sohmer boasts a long and distinguished career in corporate real estate in New Jersey. He previously oversaw brokerage operations for CBRE's central New Jersey office. As a real estate broker, his career highlights have included significant transactions on behalf of such clients as Merrill Lynch Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. (NYSE: MER TYO: 8675 ), through its subsidiaries and affiliates, provides capital markets services, investment banking and advisory services, wealth management, asset management, insurance, banking and related products and services on a global basis. , MetLife, IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. Sohmer received his bachelors' degree in Economics from Villanova University.

Tom Krieger has over 10 years of experience in the commercial brokerage field. Prior to this position, he managed CB Richard Ellis' Long Island region.

In that time, he helped the office to expand into one of Long Island's most successful operations.

Krieger's responsibilities will include managing the brokerage services and overseeing financial plans, policies, procedures and accounting practices for the central New Jersey office.
