Real estate industry leaders raise $2.4 million at winter's Eve Gala annual event benefits National Jewish Medical and Research Center.

At the event, which first took place in 1969, Conrad D. Stephenson was given the 35th Anniversary Award for Outstanding Achievement for establishing the well-received party format for the Winter's Eve Gala in 1981. Stephenson served as the Dinner Chairman for many years as the event became one of the premier charity gatherings for leading figures in the real estate community. Thomas M. Flexner, James D. Kuhn and Wendy M. Siegel were also acknowledged with the President's Award; each earned the award for their exceptional leadership, which has continued to make the Winter's Eve Gala the event to attend for movers and shakers.

This year's dinner leadership reflected the broad support that National Jewish has enjoyed for decades from the real estate community. Mr. Flexner, with Bear Stearns; and Owen D. Thomas, Morgan Stanley, served as the dinner chairmen, assisted by Mr. Kuhn, Newmark & Company Real Estate; Bruce E. Mosler, Cushman and Wakefield; and Stephen B. Siegel, CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. The Western theme of this year's Gala delighted the 1,200 capacity audience with skits and musical entertainment. As she has for many years, Wendy Siegel used her magic touch to turn the elegant hotel into a dusty saloon, replete with whimsical Western touches.
