 has announced that a group of investors have joined with him to form a new real estate firm known as The Related Companies, L.P.

Ross's new partners include members of the Max Fisher Max M. Fisher, J.D., (July 151908-March 32005) was an American businessman and philanthropist. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Russian immigrant parents. He was the Honorary Chairman of United Jewish Communities (UJC).  family of Detroit; the Ginsberg family, substantial investors in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 real estate; and Jorge Perez, a Florida-based real estate investor A real estate investor is someone who actively or passively invests in real estate. An active investor may buy a property, make repairs and/or improvements to the property, and sell it later for a profit. .

A leader in the acquisition, development and management of affordable and luxury housing nationwide, Mr. Ross has acquired or developed over 14,000 units of market rate housing and more than 50,000 units of government-assited housing throughout the United States during the past two decades. He has also developed over 3,000,000 square feet of commercial space included corporate headquarters for Nestle Foods, Revlon, American Brands. International Paper and Computer Assocciates International and divisional regional headquarters for Black and Decker, U.S. Sprint and Mutual New York.

The Financial Services and Property Management divisions of the new company will also draw on Ross' experience, involvement and expert in those areas.
