And now the Pulitzer committee has recognized that, too: giving him the big award. It is the most prestigious of many he has won in his career. Mike is editorial cartoonist for Investor's Business Daily. And the last cartoon we saw before press time was this: Pope Benedict XVI greeting a throng, with Barack Obama saying behind his hand, "The crowd is only here because they're bitter and the gun shops are closed." When a deserving man is honored for his work, rejoice. And when a right-leaning man is honored by a Pulitzer committee ... well, rejoice and wonder all the more.
