ReShape Joins ARM ATAP Program; Support for Rapid, Complex SoC Realization Strengthens Capabilities of the ATAP Partner Network.

ReShape Inc., an IC physical design service provider, today announced that it has joined ATAP(TM), the ARM technology access program.

With this agreement, ReShape is qualified to provide physical design services to ARM's Silicon Partners as well as system companies embedding ARM(R) CPUs in electronic products, especially those in the high-demand, high-growth wireless, graphics, multimedia and networking markets.

There are currently 34 Partners in the ATAP program, with a resource of more than 3,200 engineers available to work on ARM core-based SoC designs. ATAP design Partners must go through a strict qualification process to become an ARM Approved Design Center. This includes a design flow audit, training on implementing designs with ARM cores, tools, AMBA(R) interface peripherals and development techniques. Each Design Center must demonstrate its own unique skills in specific technology domains, as well as end-market expertise.
