"ReNEWal Realty is proud to become a member of The New Jersey Sustainable Business Alliance, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of the residents of New Jersey," stated Robert Stang, President. "As a company devoted to sustainable development, our goal is to help communicate to prospective tenants and citizens that 'green' development is the best way to redevelop re·de·vel·op

RNEWal Realty is the developer behind the revival of the former Willingboro Plaza as a mixed-use new urbanist Town Center. The site was formerly an open-air mall built in the 1950's occupied by tenants such as Sears, Woolworth's, Boscov's and Fox Movie Theater and was purchased by ReNEWal Realty in 1998. The re-development project is being heralded for helping to revive the Route 130 Corridor in Willingboro. When completed, Willingboro Town Center will consist of 700,000 square feet of mixed use retail, office, industrial, civic, educational, and residential "green" development. Presently a 260,000 square foot Merck Medco Managed Care facility, the township library, a community college and several leading retailers will occupy space at Willingboro Town Center. Green buildings and sustainable landscaping are the cornerstones of the Willingboro Town Center redevelopment.

The Township of Willingboro, N.J. in conjunction with ReNEWal Willingboro, has signed a contract with Eagle Construction Services, Inc. for the construction of the infrastructure of Willingboro Town Center. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 20th to commemorate com·mem·o·rate

the commencement of this world-class project. Township officials as well as representatives from ReNEWal Willingboro and Eagle Construction were present.

Construction is expected to last approximately four months and will include work on water, sewer, electric, gas, cable television and telephone systems. In addition, work will commence on the creation of fountains, landscaped parks and creation of roadways as per the proposed plan. Three new roads will be added to the area: Millennium Drive, Willingboro Parkway and Campbell Drive, named for former mayor Dorothea Campbell. This project was made possible in part through a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, with the help of former Senator Lautenberg, and a monetary contribution from ReNEWal Willingboro.

"We are extremely pleased with the dramatic construction about to commence on Willingboro Town Center's infrastructure," stated Willingboro Mayor Eddie Campbell Eddie Campbell (born August 10 1955) is a Scottish comics artist and cartoonist who now lives in Australia. "We are delighted to be moving forward with the infrastructure improvements," stated Robert Stang, President, ReNEWal Realty. "This is a milestone event in the redevelopment of the Route 130 corridor."
