Re "personal letter made public.".

The first of the "Letters to the Editor" in the October October: see month. , 2004 issue was meant as a personal communication to Ft. de Valk. If the letter was meant for this section, it would have been addressed to the Editor. And now I cannot find the original to confirm that it was in fact addressed by name to Fr. de Valk ... oh, dear.

And it appears as the first letter ... oh,my! I do hope this letter will receive the same prominence prominence /prom·i·nence/ (prom´i-nins) a protrusion or projection.

The point I wanted to make was: that since it is inconceivable to think that the bishops have any or all of the bad attributes listed--there must some other explanation for what actually happens or doesn't does·n't

happen in the espiscopal arena. I have made many inquiries, even with the CCCB CCCB Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops
CCCB Central Christian College of the Bible (Missouri)
CCCB Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain)
CCCB Child Care Choices of Boston
, and have not been able to find anyone who has any explanation.

I thought Catholic Insight might be able to unearth some explanations through investigative journalism investigative journalism nperiodismo de investigación . It looks as if many folk would like to know why and how certain decisions are made individually and collectively.

Anyway, thanks for the counsel: "we should avoid making rash and possibly uncharitable judgements. Excessive indignation in·dig·na·tion

If any bishop has been discomforted by what appeared to be in the letter, please be assured this was never the intent--and let me express my sincere regret for what has happened. I offer many prayers for the espicopate and I encourage others to do the same.
