Rbk and Foot Locker Present the 'Rock the Mic' Tour; Jay-Z and 50 Cent Headline the Hottest Music Tour of the Summer.

Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott and Fabolous round out the star-studded lineup 

Reebok and Foot Locker present the hottest names in hip-hop with this summer's "Rock The Mic" tour featuring Jay-Z and 50 Cent. The former has reigned at the top of hip-hop for a decade, while the latter is the hot newcomer with two singles on Billboard's top 10. Beginning on June 25, 2003, the tour hits throughout the Unites States this summer with additional stops in Canada.

"Reebok's sponsorship of the tour is part of our strategy to align the brand with athletes, artists and events that reflect youth culture," says Micky Pant, Reebok's chief marketing officer. As part of the sponsorship, "Rock The Mic" will be promoted on Foot Locker's television monitors and in-store materials in select markets. In addition, the artists may make appearances at select Foot Locker stores. Reebok and Foot Locker will conduct "meet and greets" with Jay-Z at certain key tour venues, while consumers who try on any pair of shoes from Reebok's Rbk collection at Foot Locker are eligible for a drawing to win free concert tickets. Both Reebok and Foot Locker will have a strong presence at each concert venue.

Hip-hop star Fabolous, who has appeared in two previous TV advertisements for Reebok and Foot Locker, will appear throughout the "Rock The Mic" tour, while Missy Elliott, who has also previously appeared in a Reebok commercial, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul and Bonecrusher will perform in select cities.

Earlier this year, Jay-Z and Reebok formed an unprecedented partnership, which includes the design and marketing of the "S. Earlier today, Reebok and 50 Cent announced that they have partnered to create a footwear collection entitled "G-Unit Collection by Rbk."

Jay-Z and 50 Cent will each be wearing Reebok's athletic footwear and apparel throughout the tour. Both will be showcasing the newest styles and colorways of their signature footwear collections while on stage performing.
