Kapples, 40, as vice president and secretary of the company, effective immediately. Kapples, who had served as assistant general counsel for the company since 1998, received his law degree from Georgetown University Georgetown University, in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C.; Jesuit; coeducational; founded 1789 by John Carroll, chartered 1815, inc. 1844. Its law and medical schools are noteworthy, and its archives are especially rich in letters and manuscripts by and School of Law in 1985. He also received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University in 1982. Kapples joined Raytheon as a senior attorney in 1994 after serving as an attorney with Sullivan &Worcester in Boston, Mass., from 1985.
