) has been awarded a $9.3 million contract to design and build test equipment for Diesel Division General Motors.

The new equipment will test the thermal imaging system, laser rangefinder A device which uses laser energy for determining the distance from the device to a place or object. , laser warning receiver, and the turret power and electronic control units of the Canadian vehicles. The equipment will complement Raytheon's Automatic TOW 2 Field Test Set already in use by Canada and 10 other nations. This test equipment suite forms the Raytheon Land Combat System Tester, a fully integrated test solution for electro-optical fire control and turret electronics.
