Structure wallrocks are gold-mineralized shales, significantly altered, with pyrite pyrite (pī`rīt) or iron pyrites (pīrī`tēz, pə–, pī`rīts), pale brass-yellow mineral, the bisulfide of iron, FeS2. clusters.
