The company's rapid plastimeter is designed to measure the plasticity of natural or unvulcanized Adj. 1. unvulcanized - (used of rubber) not subjected to the process of vulcanization

The latest Cogenix model features a c-frame design which is said to provide safe and easy access for the operator when loading and removing samples from between the heated platens. Clear instructions are digitally displayed so that the operator can have the instrument ready for sample testing in seconds. The operating handle initiates the pre-heat cycle; followed automatically by the application of the fixed load. After a set time, the final result is frozen on the display. Tight control of the sample temperature is said to be fundamental to the validity of the test, so two LEDs on the front panel are illuminated il·lu·mi·nate
