The XS Balance is said to use innovative technology to permit rapid and accurate analytical weighing by allowing air to freely pass through the slotted grid weigh pan, resulting in rapid stability without adversely affecting the results. The SmartGrid weigh pan is suspended from the back of the weigh chamber, allowing speed and accuracy to come together without compromise, according to the manufacturer. The XS Balance has built-in features to comply with GLR GMR USP and other quality management systems. The balances are said to provide secure compliance for operating in a regulated environment. Unprecedented speed is said to be attained with the slotted weigh pan. The technology removes buoyancy effects caused by temperature differences that lead to air currents.
