Rapid Link Partners with AFSPA to Offer Affordable Long Distance to Members.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 1999--

Rapid Link Telecommunications, a worldwide leading provider of international telecommunications services, has partnered with the American Foreign Service Protective Association (AFSPA) to offer affordable long distance service with competitive U.S. domestic and international rates to its 22,000 members located around the world.

After reviewing a variety of companies over a two-year period, AFSPA determined that Rapid Link could offer the best services to accommodate its clients, most of which travel frequently and have a need for quality long distance services at home and abroad.

"Rapid Link was an easy choice because of its superior flat rate pricing, excellent customer service, and no-nonsense billing methods," said Vince Meyer, administrative support officer with AFSPA. "We trust Rapid Link to provide our clients with the type of superior service that they have become accustomed to as members of AFSPA."

As part of the agreement, Rapid Link will help promote the program as well as handle all of the account activation, billing and customer service.

"The AFSPA members will appreciate the mobility Rapid Link offers, particularly since they can take advantage of our services no matter where they're located," said Dawn Stenson, sales manager of affinity partners with Rapid Link. "Our services will add value to their membership as well as generate goodwill among the customer base at AFSPA."

Rapid Link will produce a CommLink calling card design specifically for AFSPA customers, which will feature the organization's insignia. All new AFSPA customers will receive a $5 credit towards their long distance calls when they sign up.
