LAND Rover has announced prices of its new 2010 Range Rover Sport The Range Rover Sport is a large luxury SUV produced by British automaker Land Rover since the summer of 2005. It shares its platform with the Land Rover Discovery (LR3 in North America) rather than the larger Range Rover. Land Rover calls the vehicle a sports tourer. and Discovery 4 models, which will be on sale from September.
Significantly revised and updated, they have new engines, redesigned interiors and a variety of new technologies.
The entry-level Range Rover Sport is the 3.0-litre TDV6 ES, costing pounds 44,895, which comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, a new-look front grille, LED front side lights and rear tail lights, dynamic stability control and a diesel misfuel protection device.
The HSE version costs pounds 50,695 and gets 20-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels, bright finish front grille and side vents, Adaptive Dynamics, including a new Dynamic mode on Terrain Response, Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control An automotive cruise control system that automatically slows down the car if it is moving too close to the vehicle in front of it. A radar or laser unit located behind the grille determines the speed and distance of the vehicle in front. with forward alert, adaptive bixenon headlights and Automatic High Beam Assist.
Next up is the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol model costing pounds 61,995 equipped with high performance brakes, 20inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust finisher, and leather seats with perforations and optional contrast stitch.
Land Rover Discovery The Discovery is a four wheel drive on-road and off-road vehicle from the British car maker Land Rover. There have been three generations of the vehicle, which is less expensive than the company's top Range Rover model. 4 prices start with the 2.7litre TDV6 GS, at pounds 31,995. At the top of the range is the HSE model, priced at pounds 47,695.
