Toshiba makes and sells electronics for home, office, industry and health care including information and communication systems, electronic components, heavy electrical apparatus,  (Toshiba) for the license and utilization of two new high-speed interfaces, codenamed "Yellowstone" and "Redwood." Offering unparalleled competitive advantages, these two interfaces are expected to be utilized for future broadband applications with "Cell."

The impact on Rambus' financials will be discussed during a conference call and webcast on January 6, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The specific terms of the agreements are confidential.
