Ralph Lauren Debuts in Orange County at South Coast Plaza; Store Opening on Wednesday, September 22, 2004.

WHAT:   Ralph Lauren makes its Orange County debut with a new 5,700
        square-foot store opening at South Coast Plaza on Wednesday,
        September 22, 2004.

        The new store boasts notable architectural and design details
        including antique display fixtures, custom designed mahogany
        millwork, a limestone fireplace and crystal chandelier.  The
        interior serves as a luxurious backdrop for the special
        clothing collections and accessories Ralph Lauren will offer
        each season.

        The South Coast Plaza store will offer apparel from his luxe
        Men's Purple Label Collection, Ralph Lauren Collection for
        Women, Black Label for Women, Blue Label for Women, and RLX,
        as well as furnishings, accessories and footwear.

        An in-store tailor, monogramming and delivery services are
        also offered.
