On April 22, Patricia Ireland Patricia Ireland (born October 19, 1945 in Oak Park, Illinois) is a U.S. administrator and feminist. She served as president of the National Organization for Women, from 1991 to 2001 and published an autobiography, What Women Want, in 1996.  (above), president of the National Organization for Women, led a rally called Emergency Action for Women's Lives. More than 1,000 people attended the event, including members of the drag group Church Ladies for Choice and singer Mary Mary, the mother of Jesus
Mary, in the Bible, mother of Jesus. Christian tradition reckons her the principal saint, naming her variously the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady, and Mother of God (Gr., theotokos). Her name is the Hebrew Miriam.
 Prankster, who performed a song called "Brave New Baby."
