Rajinder S. Seth.


TAPPI TAPPI Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry  member, Rajinder S. Seth, recently passed away. Seth was an active member of TAPPI and PAPRICAN PAPRICAN Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada . He was widely recognized by the pulp and paper industry The global pulp and paper industry is dominated by North American (United States, Canada), northern European (Finland, Sweden) and East Asian countries (such as Japan). Australasia and Latin America also have significant pulp and paper industries.  and received many awards. In 1992 he was named a TAPPI Fellow and in 2003 he was awarded the PAPTAC PAPTAC Pulp And Paper Technical Association of Canada  John S. Bates Memorial Gold Medal. His legacy lies in his vision, the strict principles by which he conducted his research, and above all, his unmatched talent for translating the physical complexities of the pulp fibres, which form the basis of f our industry, into understandable and useable knowledge.
