Ragupathy Veluswamy.

Ragupathy Veluswamy, MD, MMM, is the assistant vice president for quality and utilization at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, N.J. In his expanded role, he is responsible for overseeing all the operational functions of the laboratory and radiology services while retaining responsibilities for all quality issues associated with Kimball's length of stay initiatives. Veluswamy joined Kimball Medical Center as the medical director for quality and utilization in August 2003. Prior to his appointment, he was a managing partner with Lakewood Pediatric Associates for over 20 years and an active member of the Kimball medical-dental staff. He has served in various physician leadership roles including department of pediatrics chair, utilization committee chair, member of the executive committee and secretary/treasurer of the Kimball medical-dental staff. Veluswamy is a Certified Physician Executive with masters degree in medical management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is also a Diplomate of American Board of Quality and Utilization Review Physicians. He recently earned Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University.
