Radisson to acquire a mining property of over 9,000 hectares in Indonesia, Kalimantan Island.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 1996--Radisson Mining Resources Inc. (ME:RDS) has announced that it has executed a letter of intent whereunder it will earn from P.T. Hutan Nauli, an Indonesian company, up to 50 percent interest in a contract of work (CoW) on a mining property known as the Buntok Prospect in the southeastern part of the Island of Kalimantan.

The agreement provides that Radisson will acquire a 30 percent interest in the CoW in consideration of a cash payment of $500,000 US and the issuance of 4 millions common shares of Radisson and will be granted the option to acquire an additional 20 percent (totalling 50 percent) by carrying out exploration work of $2,000,000 US over two years on the mining property.

The agreement is subject to board of director and regulatory authorities approvals and to the completion of a full due diligence examination by Radisson, and the execution of a formal agreement.

The Buntok Prospect CoW comprises 9,396 hectares within two blocks of the original CoW. The most westerly block lies along the eastern flank of the Barito River where some alluvials were identified as being gold bearing.

The easterly Block is by far the most promising with structural features indicating favourable environments for epithermal gold mineralisation, plus some downstream zones of gold in the alluvium of the Misin Valley.

A highly altered volcanic zone is already identified and has a strike length of over twelve kilometers on the property on the west flank of the Misin River.

The Buntok Prospect has been held since 1987 under a preliminary Geological Survey Period (SIPP) over an area of 357,905 hectares. This original CoW has been reduced to its present size through compulsory relinquishments, after preliminary investigation for mineral concentration.

P.T. Hutan Nauli is a company owned 50 percent by each of Mispec Resources Inc. (ME:MPE) and P.T. Hunamas Putra Interbuana of Indonesia. TNK Resources Inc. (CDN:TNKR) is also involved having recently acquired a 10 percent interest in the Buntok Prospect.
