Radisson's Drilling Program Intersects High Grade Gold on the O'Brien and Kewagama Properties.ROUYN-NORANDA, Quebec Rouyn-Noranda (2006 population 39,924) is a city on Osisko Lake in northwestern Quebec, Canada. The city of Rouyn appeared after copper was discovered in 1917. Noranda (a contraction of "North Canada") was created later around the Horne mine and foundry. -- Radisson Mining Resources Inc. Most commonly using wireline and core bits with diamond encrusted matrix. To drill holes to max depths of twelve thousand feet, for the recovery of core used in verifying mineral program currently in progress on its adjoining O'Brien and Kewagama properties located in Cadillac Township between Rouyn-Noranda and Malartic, Quebec Malartic is a town on the Malartic River in northwestern, Quebec, Canada in the Vallée-de-l'Or Regional County Municipality. According to the Canada 2001 Census:
The O'Brien and Kewagama properties, which are 100% owned by Radisson Mining Resources, are situated some eight kilometers to the west of Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd.'s Lapa gold project. Agnico recently announced on August 4, 2004, the financing and start of a major shaft sinking shaft sinking, excavation from the surface of an opening in the earth. Shafts, which are generally vertical, are usually distinguished from tunnels, which are horizontal. and underground project estimated to cost US$30 million in the first bulk-sample phase and US$80 million for the tentative mine development in the second phase. When completed, the US$110 million project will be a new world-class mine development for northwestern Quebec's Abitibi region. Three diamond drill holes of the Radisson's planned six-hole program have now been completed and can be reported on. The final three holes are now being completed with assay results awaited. Highlights of the program include the intersection of O'Brien type "visible gold" in the three holes. In hole OB04-01, a 0.3-m intersection assayed 13.68 g/t over 0.30 m (0.399oz/t- 1.0 ft) at a vertical depth of 1280 m (4200 ft.). Also intersected were mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. To transform a metal into a mineral by oxidation. 3. alteration sections averaging 1.1g/t and 1.4g/t over core lengths of 14.8 m and 7.59 m respectively. In hole KW04-02 collared on the Kewagama property 300 m (984ft stepout) east of OB04-01, a 1.0-m core section assaying 17.5g/t (0.509 oz./t gold/3.28 ft.) was intersected at a vertical depth of 1150 m (3800 ft). An additional mineralized section averaged 1.1g/t for 6.1 m. Hole KW04-03 was collared 300m (984 -ft stepout) further east of KW04-02 which intersected gold mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. that averaged 5.45 g/t (0.16 oz./t) for a core interval of 8.2 m. (26.8 ft) from 515.4 m to 523.6 m. The same intersection from 515.4 m to 520.3 m, 4.94 m (16.2 ft), averaged 8.22 g/t (0.24 oz./t). Included in these sections was a "free visible gold" intercept intercept in mathematical terms the points at which a curve cuts the two axes of a graph. that graded (uncut) 49.94 g/t over 0.6 m at 515.4 m. Another intercept in this hole from 376.2 to 376.5 m, for a core interval of 0.3 m, assayed 10.9 g/t (0.32 oz. gold/t /1.0 ft). The results in the initial three holes received to date suggest the presence and extension of the O'Brien gold structure for a strike length of at least 700 meters eastward from section "36 East" and a vertical planar A technique developed by Fairchild Instruments that creates transistor sublayers by forcing chemicals under pressure into exposed areas. Planar superseded the mesa process and was a major step toward creating the chip. exposure of 1300 metres. The high grade intersection of 49.94 g/t as a core intercept within wider zones grading between 5.5 g/t and 8.2 g/t are typical of the production grades of the historic Rouyn-Noranda-Cadillac-Malartic-Val D'Or mining camp. A table summarizing the drill program and assay results is available at the following address: http://www2.ccnmatthews.com/database/fax/2000/rdstab_a.pdf Radisson considers the program to be regional in nature, testing the eastward potential of the O'Brien gold system at wide-spaced intervals. These preliminary results are considered highly encouraging and a second-phase follow-up program is planned. The Radisson O'Brien/Kewagama exploration program is planned and supervised jointly by Dale M Hendrick, P.Eng., Director and Technical Consultant to the Board, and Ms. Yolande Bisson, MBA MBA abbr. All drill cores are NQ in size and analyses are routinely performed on sawn or splitted half-cores with standard fire assay procedures and AA finish. Half of the core is retained for future reference. Samples containing visible gold are subjected to a metallic sieve assay procedure. The assay laboratory used is the Expert Laboratory Inc. in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Radisson is a Quebec-based mining exploration company, and is the sole owner or has interests in eleven gold-bearing properties, with some containing base metals. The properties are located in northwestern Quebec. The most advanced, and its principal asset, is the former O'Brien Mine property located in Cadillac, which has produced (1926-1956) 587,521 oz. of gold from a production of 1.3 million short tons at an average grade of 0.467 oz. of gold/short ton. The company also owns a gold mill rated at 200 tons per day on the O'Brien Mine site in Cadillac.
