RadioFrame Networks Announces GSM and UMTS Femtocell Products to Enable the Fixed Mobile Convergence Market for Wireless Operators.


REDMOND, Wash. -- RadioFrame Networks, Inc. today announced the introduction of its first set of commercial femtocell products utilizing the company's recently introduced OmniRadio[TM] Processor Platform. The newly announced femtocell products augment RadioFrame Network's existing GSM and UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) The GSM implementation of the 3G wireless phone system. Earlier this week RadioFrame announced the introduction of its OmniRadio[TM] Processor microchip. This processor forms the core of the OmniRadio[TM] Platform used in RadioFrame's femtocell products. In the future, the company intends to produce versions of the femtocell series for other technologies such as WIMAX and LTE (Long Term Evolution) See 3GPP. .
