Radio stations to take 110,000 s/f space.


Four of the nation's top broadcast radio stations, including WFAN-AM, WNEW-FM, WCBS-FM and 1010 WINS-AM have opted to expand their new lease at 345 Hudson Street Hudson Street can refer to:
  • The Manhattan street -- see Hudson Street (Manhattan)
  • The 1978 TV series A.E.S. Hudson Street
  • The 1995 TV series "Hudson Street -- see Hudson Street (TV show)
 by 37% in moving their operations from studios in Times Square, it was announced today by Carl Weisbrod, president of Trinity Real Estate, the building owner.

Under the terms of a 20-year lease, the stations will occupy 110,500 s/f of commercial space--up from 80,000 square feet--at the property. The 30,000 s/f increase was guaranteed by a lease option for CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  to occupy the entire 10th and 11th floors instead of the entire 11th floor and part of the 10th floor at the building, as originally planned.
