machines or regrind shafts. The SPEED1-SLEEVE finds use in mining and mineral-processing equipment including crushers, conveyors, fans and pumps, as well as in off-highway construction and agricultural vehicles. The sleeve can be simply slipped into position over worn shaft areas, providing an effective sealing surface with no labor-intensive disassembly or machining required. In tests conducted by SKF, the new SPEEDISLEEVE demonstrated 50 percent greater resistance to abrasive media than the previous version. Standard sizes for the sleeve cover shaft diameters ranging from 0.47 to 8 in. (11.99 to 203.33 mm). SPEEDISLEEVE is also available as SKF SPEEDI-SLEEVE Gold made for highly abrasive environments and for applications with seals made of filled PTFE PTFE

polytetrafluoroethylene.
