This new version provides support for testing Web Services; WebFT Reporter, a new tool for quickly building standard and custom reports, and a number of other features designed to provide test engineers with the flexibility and performance necessary for testing today's mission critical e-business solutions.

WebFT continues to be the industry's first and only functional testing solution to offer intelligent, open standards test agenda creation using the JavaScript standard scripting language. This common language, combined with an intuitive visual authoring environment, provides a flexible, proven Web-centric testing solution that efficiently verifies the functional accuracy of Web applications and ensures applications perform as expected.

WebFT's new features address two important issues for software test engineers: testing increasingly complex Web applications and the continually shrinking test timeframe. WebFT provides automated test case generation for Web Services through an easy-to-use Wizard to ensure the quality and performance of a Web Service, and supports current and emerging standards including BPEL. WebFT's embedded component support automatically records all the embedded objects in the Web application page, including Flash and Java Applets. In addition, WebFT and WebLOAD, RadView's load and performance tool, continue to share test scripts and agendas without modification. After functionally verifying a Web application or Web Service with WebFT, the same test script/agenda can be used in WebLOAD to execute a load or stress test, regardless of the platform.
