Racing: All systems go for trim Johnny.

JOHNNY MURTAGH is "all systems go" as he resumes his partnership with Alamshar in the Group 1 Ireland The Food Island Champion Stakes at Leopardstown.

Last month the Irishman announced he was taking time off to combat weight problems, but made a successful return on the Aga Khan's Hanabad at Limerick on Wednesday.

"It's all systems go for tomorrow - I'm looking forward to getting back on Alamshar," Murtagh said yesterday.

"He's in great form and he worked well this week. John Oxx is very happy with him and whatever beats him will win."
