, Rachael Worby Rachael Worby is an American conductor who rose to fame during her long tenure as Music Director and Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra in Wheeling, West Virginia.  is a pioneering visionary, acclaimed internationally as one of the world's few women conductors. At the same time, she is a business executive who has successfully grown the orchestra's audiences and secured vital corporate partners to support the non-profit organization's concerts and programs. Maestra Worby, acclaimed as a skilled communicator, also performs worldwide as a guest conductor.

Perhaps just as impressive as her musical and conducting talents is Worby's spirited and unstinting dedication to introducing the magic of music to under privileged youth as a supplement to their traditional education.
