RZ Products Group Simplifies HDMI Connectivity.


ORLANDO, Fla. -- RZ Products Group announces the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) A digital interface for audio and video signals designed as a single-cable solution for home theater and consumer electronics equipment.  Simplified(TM) (HDS (Hitachi Data Systems, Santa Clara, CA, www.hds.com) A leading provider of high-end storage hardware, software and services. Part of the Information Systems & Telecommunications Division of Hitachi Ltd. ) system to facilitate the connection and conversion of legacy audio/video equipment to the new High-Definition Multimedia Interface The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a licensable audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed, encrypted digital streams. HDMI connects DRM-enforcing digital audio/video sources, such as a set-top box, a Blu-ray Disc player, a PC running  (HDMI) standard.

Three product lines support the home, professional and broadcast markets. The initial offerings focus on home theater An audio/video entertainment center that has a large-screen TV and hi-fi system with three speakers in the front (left, right and center) and left and right speakers in the rear. The HDS converter cables allow existing audio and video components to easily interface with the latest high-definition video and multi-channel audio components. GloLink(TM) connectors incorporated into each HDS converter cable present a "link good" confirmation light when components are correctly connected.

The first HDS converter cables to be released will be:

HT-CVB-RC101 Composite video and Stereo analog audio IN to HDMI OUT

HT-SVID-SP101 SVideo and S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital InterFace) A serial interface for transferring digital audio from CD and DVD players to amplifiers and TVs.
