RWD Technologies Delivers Custom eLearning Portal to Vodafone UK; Portal Provides Sales Force with Access to Courseware for Employees and Learning Assessment Tools for Managers.

BALTIMORE -- RWD Technologies, Inc., a company that provides software, systems integration, and outsourcing services to improve training and organizational performance across the enterprise, announced the delivery of an eLearning portal for Vodafone UK. RWD Technologies designed, built, and delivered the custom online learning portal, which is currently being used by members of Vodafone UK's corporate sales team. The learning portal is designed to provide a fully self-managed learning environment supported by detailed competency and skills management tools, full access to the latest information and training on sales strategies, new products, services and technologies, and gives managers the ability to keep track of employees' capabilities with online assessments.

In addition to designing and building the portal's infrastructure, RWD worked with Vodafone UK to create assessment tools and eLearning content for the learning portal. Within the portal, custom content is delivered to employees based on their specific job roles and requirements, so that employees have access to only the content and courses that are important to their jobs. The portal also administers assessment tools, which make it possible to assess the skill and competency levels of employees. Managers can then use the portal to check on the progress of employees. RWD will continue to work with Vodafone UK on an ongoing basis to add content and increase the functionality of the portal.
