Before we begin Speed Networking, we are extremely pleased to present a speaker with a truly inspiring story. In March of this year, @Last Software, creators of SketchUp, was acquired by Google. SketchUp is a 3D sketch/modeling tool, and the creators developed a plugin for exporting 3D models to Google Earth A 3D mapping program from Google that covers the entire globe from satellite images. Requiring a download for Windows, Mac and Linux desktops, a street address can be searched, and the views can be zoomed down to the individual building all the way up to a satellite's view of the globe. . The founder of @Last, Brad Schell, will share his amazing story at the May 9 meeting.
