A number of travel-related events are scheduled in the coming weeks. Here are a few:

New recreational vehicle models are on display from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Oct. 20 at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds n. pl. 1. same as fairground.  on Fairplex Drive in Pomona. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, free for children under 12; parking is $4 per vehicle. Information: (909) 623-3111.

 International-American Youth Hostels will conduct an Oct. 26 workshop on budget travel in Europe. The sessions begins at 11 a.m. at the Hostelling International Travel Centre, 1434 Second St., Santa Monica. Admission is $10 ($5 for HI-AYH members). Information: (310) 393-3413.

A series of six travel films will be shown at 2 p.m. Sundays at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 800 Hobson Way, Oxnard. Tea will be served after the films. Admission is $55 for the entire series of films; admission for individual films is $12 per person. Juliette Harris of Promenade Travel will help plan winter vacations during an appearance at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Bookstar, 21440 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills. Admission is free.

Around the World Travel in Tarzana will sponsor a vacation expo and travel show from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Radisson Hotel, 15133 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks. Admission is $5 at the door, free when you RSVP (ReSerVation Protocol) A communications protocol that signals a router to reserve bandwidth for real time transmission. RSVP is designed to clear a path for audio and video traffic, eliminating annoying skips and hesitations.  to (818) 996-3000.

``Bonny Scotland,'' a film in the Kiwanis Travel Adventure Series, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at La Canada High School auditorium, 4463 Oak Grove Drive, La Canada-Flintridge. Admission is $6.
