RUSSIA - The Gazprom Management Board


Vyakhirev is chairman of the management board, or committee. The following are key members of this board:

Pyotr Rodionov, the board's deputy chairman in charge of finance, was minister of fuels and energy for seven months until he resigned on April 4, 1997. He has been tipped to succeed Vyakhirev as chairman. He has established Mezhregiongaz, a separate company marketing gas in more than 60 of Russia's regions.
