Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , is summoned for questioning by federal prosecutors in connection with an investigation into the alleged theft of state assets. The summons follows the July 3 detention of the company's second largest shareholder Platon Lebedev Platon Leonidovich Lebedev (Russian: Платон Леонидович Лебедев; born 29 November 1956) is a former CEO of Group Menatep, and is best known as  in connection with the alleged theft of a state-owned stake in a fertiliser plant in 1994. He was arrested in his hospital bed. The head of Yukos' security department Alexei Pichugin was charged with being an accomplice in the murder of two individuals in 2002. Yukos rejects the charges.
